Athletes and teams
Source: HiToP manufacturer materials.
The athlete and team images and original captions come from HiToP manufacturer materials, including page 26 of HiToP Benefits Sport Medicine. They concern the HiToP device and do not establish endorsement of the complete SunShine protocol. The original brochure captions are reproduced on the main page; the clarifications below distinguish several titles from the documented sporting results.
Manufacturer captions and official sporting records
- Tine Urnaut and Dejan Vinčić — European silver medallists with Slovenia; the brochure’s European Champion wording overstates the recorded result.
- Goran and Zoran Dragić — Both played in the NBA. Goran won EuroBasket 2017; Zoran missed that tournament through injury. The shared World Champions caption is inaccurate.
- Andrej Šporn — Olympian and World Cup medallist, rather than senior World Champion.
- Tim-Kevin Ravnjak — His world-championship gold was at junior level.
- Andraž Jereb — Zagreb Grand Prix champion in 2016, rather than World Champion.
- Aljaž Bedene — ATP player with a career-high singles ranking of No. 43; the World Champion caption is unsupported.
- Jernej Damjan — World Cup event winner and World Championship medallist, rather than World Champion.
- Luka Janežič — European U23 champion; the age-group qualifier matters.
Research highlights
These study findings relate to underlying technology, specific patient groups and treatment schedules. They are not guaranteed results of the combined SunShine procedure.
Muscle Health
Research team: Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany
Six participants trained their biceps. The 29% figure was the largest individual strength gain (17 to 22 kg); the mean was 19.7%. Average repetitions increased 44% in the HiToP-treated arm versus 5% in the trained, untreated arm. The between-treatment difference in strength gains was not statistically significant.
University affiliations identify the research team. The training took place at BGM health studio in Henstedt-Ulzburg, Germany.
Hottenrott, Schmetzer & Möhle · 2024 · Six-week pilotNerve Health
Study site: Cairo University, Egypt
Of 30 participants, 15 received HiToP plus physical therapy. Their mean carpal-tunnel pain score fell from 8.53 to 1.33 after 12 sessions over four weeks: an 84% reduction, rounded.
Abou Shady et al. · 2021 · Randomized trialJoint Health
Study site: Jagiellonian University Medical College, Poland
All 10 patients with soft-tissue knee injuries improved after ten 45-minute treatments. The 100% figure describes this small study group, not a universal success rate or a one-session result.
Wilk, Fibiger & Frańczuk · 2002 · Preliminary studyCirculation Health
Research team: Heidelberg University Hospital, Germany
In 21 people with painful diabetic neuropathy, median diastolic blood pressure fell from 80 to 70 mmHg after three one-hour treatments over one week. This was a result in that study population, not a general hypertension-treatment claim.
The paper identifies this university-hospital research team; it does not separately name the treatment location.
Hidmark et al. · Clinical Therapeutics · 2017Brain Health
Research team: Taipei Veterans General Hospital & National Yang-Ming University, Taiwan
The 58% reduction in Geriatric Depression Scale scores was reported among seven older male veterans who completed 12 weeks of active treatment alongside stable antidepressant medication. It is a symptom-score change, not a cure rate or a measure of cognition.
The lead author is affiliated with both institutions. The paper documents assessments at Taipei Veterans General Hospital; the treatment room is not separately named.
Liu et al. · 2021 · Pilot studySleep Health
Research team: Heidelberg University Hospital, Germany
The 42% figure applies to the 30 diabetic-neuropathy patients with the greatest initial sleep disturbance. Their mean score fell from 7.9 to 4.6. It does not describe the whole study group or a primary-insomnia trial.
This is the university-hospital affiliation reported in the paper.
Humpert et al. · Pain Medicine · 2009Energy Health
Research team: October 6th University, Egypt (reported by GBO)
Manufacturer-reported results show mean Chalder Fatigue scores falling from 25.11 to 5.11; the presentation reports a 79.65% reduction, rounded to 80%. Control-group scores rose from 24.61 to 25.92. These are unpublished presentation data, not a published peer-reviewed result. The presentation does not consistently establish treatment duration or the final number of participants.
GBO’s team slide names October 6th University. Its cover instead names Cairo, and no treatment clinic is identified; the research-team label follows the detailed team slide.
